Established in 1994, TSA was first named Chinese Student Union (CSU). CSU changed its name to Taiwanese Student Union (TSU) with the support from the Taiwanese Association of Tampa Bay 天霸灣台灣同鄉會 (TATB) in 1999. Having speculated the names of the other Taiwanese student
organizations around the U.S. and Canada, our
club has, since 2002, been updated to its current identity Taiwanese Student Association (TSA).
成立於西元 1994年，社團原名是 『中華民國學生會』(Chinese
Student Union)。1999
年時，曾在『天霸灣台灣同鄉會』(Taiwanese Association of
Tampa Bay) 的支持下，社團暫時改名為『台灣學生會』(Taiwanese
Student Union)。自 2002 年後，隨著母校 USF 名氣提升 -
佛州三大名校，為了帶動社團走上國際舞台，繼承了目前的身份『台灣同學會』Taiwanese
Student Association (USFTSA.com)。
